Gopesh Debnath, a dedicated cyclist and visual art teacher in Tripura's government art college, is the founder of "Agartala Cycloholics," a cycling community in Agartala. Passionate about cycling, he conducts awareness programs, commutes to work by bicycle, and envisions a green, clean, and healthy city. Gopesh aims to instill a cycling culture, particularly among female riders facing obstacles such as narrow roads, traffic, and safety concerns. As the Bicycle Mayor, he plans to encourage more coworkers to cycle, organize rallies, and collaborate with administration and social causes. Gopesh's mission is an inspiring example for other cities, demonstrating that even smaller communities can proactively adopt cycling initiatives for a sustainable and healthier future.
